I did find this book quite creepy to begin with, the concept of someone saying strange things in their sleep, and sleepwalking, is a very real behaviour which can seem quite eerie. I wasn't overly keen on the direction that it went in when we got to learn more about the imposter, but overall it definitely held my attention right to the end, and I did enjoy it.

I can't decide if I liked this book or not. At first, I thought I'd guessed the whole plot, but quickly realised that was too easy, and it was an obvious red herring. So I kept reading, keen to learn how and when the two separate plot lines would converge. And then the ending kind of came out of nowhere and seemed 'stitched on' like an afterthought. But I guess when your MC is an 'unreliable narrator' you can get away with that sort of thing. It just left me feeling a bit 'meh' about the whole book.

This was the August choice for the Thrive Book Club. It had been on my radar for a while, just because it was about hares, so I thought I'd indulge. Such a beautiful book! Sad in parts, but hopeful and inspiring too.

I didn't enjoy this book, found it to be very slow and it just never really went anywhere. Didn't like the ending.

I just don't really like books with a group of so-called best friends from university, because they never actually seem to be that friendly towards each other!

Also, by page 128 the author had used the word 'simulacrum' twice.
